What the foot massage actually is

This is a focused 30-minute treatment for the feet and lower legs, drawing on reflexology principles. The therapist works through the sole, arch, heel and toes with thumb pressure, then moves up into the calves and ankles with kneading and gentle mobilisation.

Short as it is, it is one of the most disproportionately effective things on our menu. The feet carry the whole day, and settling them tends to settle everything above them.

Who it suits best

  • Anyone on their feet all day — retail, hospitality, nursing, teaching
  • Runners and walkers with tight arches or sore heels
  • Swollen, heavy legs after travel or long hours standing
  • People who want a real reset inside a lunch break
  • Guests who prefer to stay fully clothed apart from shoes

Benefits you can expect

Relief from foot pain

Direct work through the arch and heel eases the tightness behind most everyday foot soreness.

Lighter legs

Calf and ankle work moves fluid upward, which helps after flights, long drives or a day on hard floors.

Whole-body calm

Reflexology-style pressure is unusually settling — many guests describe the effect as spreading well beyond the feet.

Quick and practical

Thirty minutes, no oil in your hair, no need to change: easy to fit into a working day near Sarit Centre.

What to expect in the room

  1. 1You remove shoes and socks and sit or lie back comfortably; the rest of your clothing stays on.
  2. 2Feet are cleansed with a warm towel before any work begins.
  3. 3The therapist works one foot at a time through sole, arch, heel and toes with firm thumb pressure.
  4. 4Calves and ankles follow, with kneading and slow mobilisation.
  5. 5A light finishing sequence over both feet closes the session.

How we set the pressure

Firm on the sole, moderate through the calves. Feet vary enormously in sensitivity, so the therapist tests pressure early on each foot and works to your tolerance rather than a fixed routine.

Aftercare

  • Walk for a couple of minutes before putting shoes back on.
  • Keep the feet raised for twenty minutes in the evening if swelling is your main issue.
  • Drink water and, if you can, avoid heels for the rest of the day.
