Westlands Massage was started with a simple idea: people in Nairobi deserve a calm, professional place to look after themselves — without the noise, the upsells, or the rush. We are a small practice in Westlands, not a chain, and everything about how we work follows from that.
How we work
Every session begins with a short conversation. Where does the tension actually live? What do you do all day? Any injuries, surgeries or pregnancies we should work around? What do you want to leave feeling? Those two minutes shape the next sixty, which is why no two treatments here look the same even when they share a name on the menu.
Pressure is set with you, not for you. Your therapist starts moderate, checks in as each new area opens, and adjusts on the spot. Deep tissue should feel firm and productive — the kind of pressure you can breathe through. Nothing is pushed through a wince, and asking for lighter work never costs you anything.
Our therapists
The team is deliberately small: certified therapists who have practised bodywork in Nairobi for over a decade, vetted personally before they ever work on a guest. Between them they cover deep tissue and sports work, Swedish and aromatherapy, hot stone, Thai, prenatal and reflexology. Because the team is small, you tend to see the same hands each visit — and they remember the shoulder that keeps coming back.
Hygiene and comfort
Fresh linen for every guest, sanitised tables and stones between sessions, and quality cold-pressed oils that are kind to sensitive skin. You are draped at all times and only the area being worked is uncovered. Rooms are private, low-lit and quiet — no walk-through traffic, no music competing with the treatment.
In the studio, or wherever you are
Our studio sits in the heart of Westlands, minutes from Sarit Centre, Westgate, The Oval and the hotels along Waiyaki Way. If leaving the house or the office is not realistic, we bring the practice to you: table, linen, oils, candles and music arrive with the therapist, and all you provide is a quiet room. Mobile visits start at KSh 7,000 and cover Westlands, Parklands, Riverside, Kilimani, Lavington, Spring Valley, Kileleshwa, Gigiri and the wider Nairobi area.
Honest pricing
The price on the menu is the price you pay. No membership pressure, no oil surcharges, no "recommended" add-ons halfway through a treatment. Payment is by cash or M-Pesa, settled after your session. We are open every day from 9am to 10pm, and same-day appointments are usually available.
